You know what makes me angry and wanted me to make this blog? Most of my white friends and family don’t give a shit about race. Maybe Facebook isn’t the right place to debate these things, but according to Facebook, they don’t think or care about issues that affect black people. They tell me it’s ridiculous that I thought the Austin bombing was racially motivated. That I should start a blog because politics should be separate.

No. You want race to be separate. You don’t like hearing about race. You don’t like hearing that black shooters are treated differently than whites. You don’t like that Austin was a hate crime. And you don’t like that if school shooters were black there would be a whole other discussion.

You don’t like hearing or talking about race so you tell me I’m wrong. But I’m not. You just don’t like hearing about it.
